Hunting in Northern Maine is a tradition that goes back to the beginning of time. The best place to find Maine’s wild game is in the North Maine Woods, and we are located in the heart of some of the best hunting available. We would like to extend an invitation to your hunting party, no matter how small or large, and we will do our best to make your trip as memorable as any you have ever been on.
Hunting season starts with bear hunting season being the first week of September. We cater to small game, bear, moose and deer hunters. Our camps are located in an area laced with old logging roads that provide easy access to a wide variety of hunting terrain and opportunities.
This region has a reputation for trophy size deer and moose. We provide cabins and campsites for the wilderness traveler interested in a trip that will keep you coming back to Maine year after year.
Guided Moose hunts are available for $2500 per week, based on two hunters per hunt per guide, the permittee and sub-permittee are chosen in the moose lottery drawing. The hunt includes six nights lodging and three meals per day with arrival on Sunday after noon time and departure on Saturday (if you are still hunting on Saturday).
Guided Bear hunt over bait is $2000 per week which includes lodging for six nights, three meals a day, tree stands on active baits, transportation to and from bait sites, skinning and hide preparation and other necessary guide services for a complete bear hunt. For the non-hunters in your group, a rate of $600 per week for six nights lodging and three meals per day.
Guided Bear hunting over hounds for $2000 per person which includes 6 days of hunting, 6 nights lodging and three meals a day!
Hunting & fishing licenses can be purchased in advance online at www.informe.org/moses/ and locally in the Medway-Millinocket area before your arrival as well.
A 50% deposit is required upon booking of any hunt.
